Football West is the governing body for football across Western Australia, overseeing thousands of players, clubs, coaches, and administrators at every level of the game. Since 2016, Loaded has been their trusted design partner, and what began as a working relationship has grown into one of our most enduring and rewarding collaborations.

Now in our tenth year together, we’ve developed a deep understanding of what Football West stands for and how their story deserves to be told.

Each year, we produce Football West’s annual report, a publication that must do far more than simply meet a governance obligation. A well-crafted annual report is one of the most powerful tools an organisation has. It demonstrates credibility, communicates financial performance, and builds confidence among members, stakeholders, and the broader community. We approach every edition with that weight in mind.

Through purposeful use of infographics, data visualisations, pull-out statistics, and curated graphs, we distil a year’s worth of achievements into something that is both compelling and immediately legible. The result is a publication that reflects the scale and ambition of an organisation that touches hundreds of thousands of Western Australians.

Our work with Football West extends well beyond the annual report. We’ve designed and created animations and motion pieces for social tiles, as well as having the the privilege of designing the Football West Female Football Strategy 2018-2022, a landmark document in the growth of women’s football in this state. We’ve also designed two consecutive strategic plans, the 2018-2022 plan and the current 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, each one a considered, forward-looking document that sets the direction for the sport at a critical time in its development.
